Vetaphone has appointed Marcus Knapp as its new area sales manager (ASM) for North, Central, and South America. He will work alongside Vetaphone’s well-established and highly-experienced agent network in the region to develop the company’s fast-growing business, especially in the US.

Originally from Charlotte, NC, prior to joining Vetaphone Knapp held managerial positions in the hospitality sector, where he was a group coordinator and work environment representative. It’s this background that made him an attractive candidate for the ASM position.

Speaking for Vetaphone, CSO Kevin McKell says, “We are delighted that Marcus has joined us to help grow our business in America – he brings a different set of skills to our operation which will be invaluable as we ramp up our activity in the US.”

In response, Knapp adds, “It is a privilege to join the global market leader in surface treatment and be able to draw on their unmatched expertise in corona technology. I’m looking forward to meeting up with my American colleagues at the upcoming Labelexpo in Chicago.”

Away from work, Knapp is keen supporter of the Carolina Panthers American football team and rowed crew in both 4- and 8-man boats at high school.  Married and with family in Denmark and the US, he is a regular trans-Atlantic commuter, which fits well with his new job.
